Your design is imprinted into the metal base and then the colors are hand-filled. Raised outlines of your pin holds each color in place. The outlines are filled with a powdered glass mixture. The pin is kiln-fired at a very high temperature which melts the glass into the recesses of the outline.
The pin is then hand-polished, plated and inspected to ensure that you receive the highest quality pin available.
